Coaches and Athletic Directors:
Thank you for participating in the 2017 Tiger Town Invitational.
Date: Tuesday April 11th, 2017
Site: Tiger Stadium @ Festus R-6 Campus
Admission: For athletes and coaches free. Spectators the admission is $3 and kids 5 and up is $2
Time: Field Events start at 3:15 and running events at 3:30. A brief coaches meeting will begin at 3:00 pm in the track shed located at the northeast corner of the track. You will be allowed to only make scratches, no additions. The scratch meeting will end promptly at 3:30 pm. Please review the attached starting times for field events.
Awards: Individual/Relay Medals 1st through 6th place. 1st and 2nd place plaques for Men/Women total team points.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Surface: 8 Lane rubberized track. We allow 3/16 and below on the track and runways. NO TAPE ON THE TRACK!
Seeding: Heats/Flights will be seeded by time and distances entered.
Field Events: There will be a minimum throw line (shot and discus) and a minimum jump line (triple jump and long jump). All competitors will have at least one attempt measured. The throwing areas are NOT located at the track. They are behind the high school. It is within walking distance for athletes. Head coaches please advise your jumping and throwing coaches so we dont have any confusion at the event. Long jump, triple jump, shot, and discus competitors will be given four attempts.
Entry Fees: The entry fee will be $150.00 per girls team and $150.00 boys team for both divisions. Any questions please contact Athletic Director Mr. Allen(636) 937-5946.
Miscellaneous: There are bathrooms available. we DO NOT have locker rooms available at the track for athletes. There will be a concession stand available. There are areas for putting up tents.
Entry Deadline: All athletes are allowed in the maximum four events. All entries will be entered online utilizing MOMILESPLIT.

1600 meter run

3200 meter run

Field Events start @ 3:15
boys discus followed by girls
girls shot put followed by boys
boys pole vault Followed by girls
girls high Jump followed by boys
long jump and triple will run simultaneously
Javelin if runway is complete will be added

We need help at the throwing events this year if you have any coaches that may be interested in helping run off the throws please let me know.

We try not to turn any schools away and in doing so we may have to limit the number of entries in some events since we are running during the week.
Coaches.when you put your entries in you get 2 in all open events1 relay. The Open 1600 will be run at 3:05 pm. This event is also for VARISTY athletes. Do not put kids in the event that are not distance runners. Enter your two 1600 people and that is all you need to enter everyone else we will be heated up on Tuesday the open 1600 will not be FAT timed. Coaches will be responsible for their own times in the open 1600. The top times on the performance will entered in the 1600 will run at the regular slated meet time. We are running only competitive varsity times. This race will be limited to top 16 possibly 32 if there are enough competitive varsity times. OPEN 1600 will go off at 3:05. We are only running the top 16 people in 3200. Please use legit times from this year or last. At the scratch meeting at 3:00 we will do scratches for the 1600 and 3200 first if any athletes scratch we will allow the next person on the performance list in the race only in the 1600 and 3200.
Again we will try to save time where can and not be to restricting we will not run and extra heat for one or 2 people in the longer races. This is a very competitive Varsity Track meet please do not just throw kids in an event it will lengthen the event and force us to have cutoff times.
We will only run 2 heats of the 1600 and 1 heat of the 3200. We will limit the number of High Jumpers and Pole Vaulters to the top 20.
******Example if there are 17 entered in the 300 hurdles we will run 2 heats runner 17 will not be entered. ******
All entries must be submitted online! The deadline for entries will be on MOMILSPLIT and there will be no additions after the deadline or the day of the meet.
