Meet Information
Dear Coaches,
The 8th
annual Republic Invitational cross country meet will be held on Tuesday,Sept 29th, 2020.The meet will be held at the Republic high
school course (4370 Repmo Drive).We are
back to the original location for our course this year with the start and
finish near the football/track facilities. We are again hiring a timing company
(Ozark racing systems) to time the meet.This is a new company but I think they will be a great addition.Bus parking will be in the lot by the high
school.And tent set-up will be in the
triangle retention pond near the parking area.Please use the new round-about entrance off M Hwy to enter the school.
Each team may
enter unlimited runners in the varsity races as we will not have a JV race this
year.We will only count the top 5
finishers from each school for scoring purposes.We are also continuing with 4 junior high
divisions this year, 2 for each gender.There is unlimited entry into all junior high races but the top 5
finishers will be counted for scoring purposes.The varsity and JV races will be 5000 meters (3.1 miles), and the junior
high races will be 3200 meters (2 miles).
Teams are asked to
provide your own water.T-shirts will be
available for purchase for $10.All
medals will be awarded in the chute at the finish line.Plaques will be awarded to coaches as soon as
team scores are calculated.
