Preview
Hannah Long defeated 2012 Champ Valeska Halmicek last year to win this event. She will come in as the favorite over a talented group of 800 runners in the state. Sabrina Monsees prevailed in section 4 and will look to improve on her 5th place finish from a year ago. Freshman Maddi Leigh and Sophomore Paityn Howat (4th last year) are names that I suspect we will be talking about for the next few years.
