Class 3 Boys Coach of the Year
Larry Minner, Westminster Christian (Town and Country, St. Louis County)
The Westminster Christian boys made it a sweep of the Class 3 state team titles after the girls cruised to a comfortable win by 23 points. Coach Larry Minner led Westminster to the win with 45 points, just ahead of Lutheran (St. Charles County) who scored 42. The Wildcats were led by Robert Hines, Joseph Anderson, Sterling Webb, and Coach's son, Larry Minner Jr. Sophomore Anderson won the triple jump, was 4th in the long jump, and missed out on more points in the 110 hurdles after being disqualified. Hines placed 2nd in the 100 meters. Webb and Minner placed 2nd and 4th in the shot put and 6th and 3rd in the discus.
