Interview with Park Hill High School (Kansas City, MO) junior Chris Nilsen after his record breaking performance in the pole vault at the 2015 Missouri High School Class 3-4-5 State Track and Field Championships in Jefferson City, Friday, May 29. Nilsen broke the old highest classification (Class 4) record with his 16-5 clearance, then cleared 16-9.25 to break the overall state meet record, before clearing 17-00, for a foot personal record. and the class 5 state title. Nilsen returned to the track on Saturday where he placed fourth in the high jump with a best clearance of 6-4.
