Record Watch: 14.08 set in 1990. Blake Alexander's best - 14.16
One man has really separated himself in the hurdles – Blake Alexander. He has become a dominant hurdler in not only Class 2, but the entire state. The Stafford senior has gone undefeated in the race all year and claims the state’s third best 110m Hurdle time behind State Champs Aaron Mallett and Ezekiel Elliott. After slipping from finishing second in the prelims to a fourth place finish last year, I suspect Alexander will be on top of his game this weekend. Liberty’s (Mountain View) Jaelon Acklin should be his strongest racer as Acklin was one place behind Alexadner a year ago. Devin Dean is the only other competetior with a time of Sub 15 seconds entering the weekend. He posted a 14.84 at Stafford where Alexander set his best time.
