Preview
This past weekend the returning state champ, Amber Sleeth was beaten at sectionals. Sammie Jo Copeland took down Sleeth, both throwing season bests. Copeland now has the top mark in Class 1, less than three inches further than Sleeth. Also from that sectional, Kaitlyn Davidson should be in the mix, just about half a foot behind Sleeth. The returning discus champ Victoria Foley could also be in the mix as she also has thrown over 36 feet.
