This event promises to be just as close as the Shot Put. Like the shot, this event also features the returning state champ as the second seed. Haley Craig threw the disc a mark of 118-11.5 to beat state champ Victoria Foley’s season best. Foley won this event last year with a mark of 119-4 and has thrown 118-3 headed into the state meet. She is only about half a foot behind Foley showing these two should be evenly matched this weekend.
