Preview

The top three ranked men in this event will be familiar with each other by the weekend is over.  Eric Duncan, Nick Jones, and Mike Spicer have all qualified in four events, most of which overlap. Eric Duncan, who is in four open events for the second year in a row, has the top long jump mark of 21-8.  Nick Jones, one of the favorites in the 100 and 200 looks strong in this event as well, jumping just over 21 feet to win Sectional 1. Spicer, one of the favorites in the high jump, has also jumped 21 feet.
