Preview

I think Ryleigh Reagan, 2012 1600m champ, can win this, but she needs to have the race of her season to do so.  Last year he time at state was 5:23, but she has only run 5:39.  I will say her 5:39 looked effortless as she remained calm and composed for 1400m before kicking hard to the finish to easily pull away from the second place finisher.  Autumn Baker poses a serious threat to her title defense though.  She ran 5:31 to win sectional 1 and claim the top time in Class 1 for the event. Also, Josie Walsh is looking strong, recording a 5:38 at districts.  She placed second behind Baker at sectionals.
