Preview
I’m predicating a very close race in this one. I think Liberty with the duo of Trenton Bush and Denton Poselewait is going to be tough to beat. When you have two of the top three 400 runners in the class you are almost guaranteed to have a solid 4x400. They went 3:29.38 at sectionals, only .08 seconds behind the top mark in Class 2, 3:29.30 set by Herculaneum. Experience matters at state, and all four runners on their relay return from an 11th place finish a year ago. Seven team are within a second and a half of each other – it will come down to who shows up on Saturday.
