Preview
With only two returners from last year’s competition, there are a lot of fresh faces in this event this year. The top mark of the season belongs to Elijah McGill of Fort Osage. The only 23 foot jumper, McGill set his best all the way back in March. He was third this weekend at sectionals, defeated by Donte Watkins and nick Griffith. One of two returners, AJ Green had the top mark of the weekend, jumping his season best 22-11.25 to win Sectional 3.
