Preview
Asia Cole is the cream of the crop when it comes to the shot put. If she were to throw the same throw as she did at sectionals she would have the third best throw all-time at the state meet. The returning champion had a US#19 put of 47-2.5 to claim her sectional by a margin of three and a half feet. She is about half a foot behind the record set back in 1992, 47-7.75. If she having a bad day girls like Tyra Bickham and Paden Wachter could capitalize. These two have both thrown respectable marks in the mid 43’s.
