		Preview

	

		Half the field comes back from 2012.  Many girls come in with experience, and many come in very close to each other. The top ranked competitor is Erin Gilland, 13th a year ago.  Her 45.14 is two tenths better than Kendra Perren of DeSoto, one of three All-State Returners.  The top returner, Anne Tabora is eieght tenths of a second behind Gilliand, running 45.94 at her sectional meet. While she hasn’t this season, Tabora ran 45.04 at the state meet which is a tenth of a second better than the class leading mark set by Gilliand.
