Preview
With the top returner and top ranked thrower, Will Fife not in the field it moves down to Alec Whiteside and Caleb Mather. Whiteside has the better season best, throwing 174-3 in early April. However, it was Mather on top at sectionals, throwing 173-1 at sectionals to defeat Whiteside. Mather won the Shot Put title last year, defeating Whtieside who was second. It could be a similar finish this year, just in the discus.
