Preview
Rockhurst’s Curtis Goldmon struggled a bit at districts, finishing third. He wasn’t messing around at sectionals though, jumping a personal best of 47-0.25. This puts him behind only returning second place finisher, Chris Martin. Martin leaped 47-5.5 at his conference meet which remains the best mark in the state on the year. It still is under his best, 47-7.5 set last year at the state meet. Three more athletes are right there as well, Davian Hawkins, EJ Morgan, and Tavion Neal. Hawkins was the final All-Stater last year, finishing eighth.
