What type of student-athlete does your program recruit?  
We recruit student-athletes who are serious about their academic pursues and capable of successfully competing in the MIAA Conference, NCAA Central Region and NCAA Division II National Championships. 
 
What are some recent accomplishments of the program or individuals in the program?
Had 3 MIAA conference champions in our first year in the conference and in Division II.  Will become full members of Division II and able to compete at the Division II National Championships in 2014.

What other information about your college and/or program would be beneficial to student-athletes and parents who are in the process of searching for a college?
Lindenwood University offers 9.45 track scholarships on the women’s side and 8.2 track scholarships on the men’s side.  We have a very experienced staff.  Director of Track and Cross Country, Scott Roberts coached 1 year at Drake University, 11 years at Iowa State University, 4 years at The University of Alabama and 1 year at UTEP.  Head Cross Country Coach, Randy Cole, coached 12 years at Barton County Community College (6 years as head coach), 8 years at Kansas State University and 8 years at the University of Wyoming.  Throws Coach, Richard Cochran has over 40 years of collegiate coaching experience and was the Olympic bronze medalist in the discus.
 
We have an 8-lane, 400m outdoor track which is scheduled to be upgraded in the summer of 2014.  We have a 4-lane, 150m indoor practice track.  We also have a high performance training and testing center (HIT Center).  We have a brand new student-athlete academic learning center with academic advisors and tutors as well as computer lab.  A new athletic training facility is located within the new Student-Athlete Center.
