While Allie Heckemeyer may be the clear favorite with the best jump of the year thus far, but defending her state title won't be easy as second through fourth all return as well. She will have to deal with Samantha Fulte of Orrick who came within 3.25 inches of Heckeymeyers leading mark with a jump of 36-5.25 at the Mineral Water Classic. Jamila Ricketts picked the right time to heat up, setting personal bests in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump at Sectionals. Sarah Willhite of Salisbury and Megan Rosenbohm of Nodaway-Holt who placed third and fourth last year look ready to compete with Heckemeyer and Fulte as well.
