Preview
Grandview comes in to Jeff City with the top time from regionals and also the top time from this year. They placed 2nd last year, but lost 3 of their four legs. They seem to have bounced back fine with four guys between 10.85 and 11.38. They are led by one of the best sprinters in Class 3 with Jaymes Kelly, a favorite to win the 100. He was not listed in the event at Sectionals and they ran 42.44 so adding him could make this team even more dangerous. It is shaping up to be a close battle between them and Liberty North, who was fifth last year and returned all of their legs. Liberty North and Grandview were seperated by just five houndreths of a second at Sectionals. Liberty North is the only other team to crack 43 this year with their 42.49 at Sectionals. They have 3 runners ranked in the top 50 for the 100 this year and are led by Charlton Miller, a State qualifier in 100. Also keep your eye out for perennial sprint powerhouse McCluer South-Berkely who is coming off a half second victory at Sectional 2.
