Preview
The Class 3 Boys 4x800 is shaping up to be a good one to kick off the weekend for Class 3 with 4 teams between 8:08.78 and 8:10.72. The top seed is Festus with their 8:10.53 from Sectionals. They have tremendous depth with 4 runners at 4:36 or under and 3 runners sub 9:30 in the 3200. In the 800 they have four guys between 2:01.20 and 2:01.97. The top time this year comes from Warrensburg who ran 8:08.78 back in mid April. They have four guys under 2:02.5 and have one of the better 800 runners in Class 3 with Alex Burson. Jennings has Deon Johnson, also a 1:56 guys like Burson. They have a 2:03 guy Jordan Elder to back up Johnson. MICDS is coming in the third seed after thier 8:10.53 at Sectionals. They have Tilman Bartelsmeyer, a sub 2 runner and an individual qualifier in the 800.
