Boys Teams
1. Festus – From 5th in pre-season all the way to #1 at Forest Park. Last year the Ste. Genevieve girls beat a slew of Class 4 teams at the festival and this year it was Festus turn to show some Class 3 pride.
2. SLUH – After an emotional week the defending champs were 3rd overall, 2nd best for Missouri at Forest Park. The two time defending champs will be tough to dethrone.
3. Lafayette (Wildwood) – Down 2 spots to #3 these guys will have to hear it from their girl’s team who checked it at #1. The Lancers were without Austin Hindman at Forest Park
4. West Plains – The Zizzers hold on to the #4 spot after early season wins at Memphis and the SWCCCA meet.
5. Rock Bridge –. Up two spots from # 7 in pre-season the Bruins have looked strong this season with a win at Liberty and a solid 6th place finish at the festival.
6. Rockhurst – We moved them up over Liberty because the Hawklets were missing top runner Willie Thompson who was taking the ACT on Saturday.
7. Liberty – The Jays move up a spot from #7.
8. Blue Springs – One of two boys teams not ranked in pre-season. In case you missed it Stephen has a younger brother and yes he is fast.
9. Marquette – Marquette hangs on to our #9 spot.
10. Staley – While their pre-season video and bucket hats are impressive it was their 10th place performance at Forest Park that earned them a spot in the rankings
