Other Class 4 Notes
Historic Power, West Plains, finished third in the Class 4 Boys Race - possibly the least surprising thing of the day as this is common for the Zissers. However, they did so with no runners in the top 25.
Marquette, fifth, had a similar approach as their top runner finished in 16:46, the second slowest time from a #1 runner, yet they were only 30 points from being on the podium - DEPTH.
When you take out seniors, the Washington girls have the second and third returning runners from the State Meet. The sixth place squad returns five of their top seven.
Ten of the top 15 girls came from Sectional 1.
