Jessica Haney is graceful over the bar and has the bounce of a baby deer. Only a sophomore she has a chance to be one of the best jumpers in the state for multiple seasons. Track and field might not have been her first passion but she sure can jump.
What were your first impressions of Jessica Haney when you first met her?
The first time I met Jessica was at winter conditioning her freshmen year and watching her run reminded me of a high jumper with her gait. I knew she was a very good jumper on our middle school team and as soon as we had that 1st conditioning session knew she was going to transition into a excellent high jumper for Lee's Summit West.
When did you know Jessica could be truly great?
