In class four both MICDS and Raytown South will rely on their sprint crews to carry them most of the season. These two programs are certainly the top tier in class four. The state meet will be hotly contested as they clash head to head in almost every sprint event and relay. MICDS will get challenged early by top four team finisher Parkway Central in the first round of districts due to redistricting. PCH returns a senior class that includes six collegiate signees along with very strong freshman class. Grain Valley might have flown under the radar last season, but this year they return a balanced squad that should make some significant noise on the state level along with weekend invitationals. Previous class, five distance powerhouse Washington, rounds out our top five in class four. Expect to see the Blue Jays chase district plus standards in many distance events all season to maximize their point out on the state level. The scores included below are just the individual events.
