State Course Preview-Video of Oak Hills Course

For newcomers to Jefferson City's Oak Hills Golf Center State Cross Country Course or even veterans, refresh your memory of the ins and outs of the long-time home to the Missouri High School State Cross Country Championships. The course has gone through minor adjustments often over the years and a few major ones. The most recent in 2010, that avoided the fall and climb of the hill north east of the clubhouse, as well as the rough 90-degree angle turn and climb up the steep hill with 250-meters left. That last hill is now avoided and has made for a much longer, slightly curved finish stretch that leads to the finish chute.

Last year, the start line was moved up about 50-meters to keep everyone on level ground, with that distance made up in a couple of places along the course. Enjoy the video and the good and bad memories it may bring up, or focus on the places in the course you've got strategic plans for.
