6. Aleah Asare, Sophomore
Wheatland
PR: 13.11
Last year the Wheatland Freshman ended her rookie campaign with a 10th place finish at the State Meet. She's likely to improve this year, and she'll look to earn her first State Medal with a top 8 finish.
5. Jaelyn Steeby-Thomas, Sophomore
Princeton
PR: 13.06
Jaelyn was a 3 event State Qualifier as a freshman (100m, 200m , & 400m), and was All-State in the 100m & 200m (6th & 7th). She'll try and get to sub 13, which I think is very possible, which will put her in a very good postion to climb the medal stand in 2018.
