KC Lightfoot (Lee's Summit): US #2 Pole Vault (18-3)
KC has been dominating all year, but particularly the last month or so. Before the Gary Parker Invitational he had never cleared 18 feet, and has since done it three times! Gary Parker is where he got his 18-3 which is the 2nd best vault in the country behind National Record Holder Mondo Duplantis, and is the 2nd highest vault in State History. He just missed the State Record at the KC Suburban Gold Conference Championships, and he has three more chances to break it in the State Series.
