Ryan Riddle (Webb City)
A lot can be said about Riddle, and I did say a lot in a Q&A I did with him last week that you can find on the site. He's ranked 1st in both the 1600 & 3200 in Class 4, and is 2nd in the 800. Should he choose to run all three at State he will be a favorite to pull off the sweep.
Corben Pugh (Carthage)
Corben comes into the State Series as the fastest 400 runner in Class 4. To go along with that 48.53, he's also the third fastest 100 runner in Class 4 with a 10.78. Be sure to look out for him in those events and Carthage's relays as they chase a possible State Title.
GIRLS

Camilla Roy (Webb City)
Roy enters the week ranked in each of 400, 800, and 1600. She's highest ranked in the 400 (3rd; 59.21), but she has been more focused on the Distance races the last couple of years. She currently ranks 5th in 800, and 6th in the 1600 so it'll be interesting to what events she goes with for the State Series.
Evie Cross (Carl Junction)
Evie enters the State Series as the 2nd ranked runner in the 3200, only trailing State Champ Mikayla Reed in the event. Her 11:28.70 season best is well ahead of 2nd place so look for her to be right up there near the top of the medal stand at State in a few weeks.
