Major Changes As 2018 District Alignments Released

Class 1 Welcomes New Teams, Waves Goodbye to New Haven

With the departures of New Haven, Summit Prep, and Valle Catholic, the Class 1 team outlook has shifted.

Lutheran Kansas City now appears to be the clear favorites on the boys side, particularly if Jesse Schultz can continue to grow from his outstanding track season.

On the girls side, Ashley Riley is still the favorite for the individual title, even more so now, though. West Platte will now be a favorite to repeat this fall with St. Joseph Christian not too far behind.
