Class 4's 800m Runners to Watch in 2019

There will be seven girls returning in the Class 4 800m who qualified for State last season, including three returning State Medalists.

The favorite heading into the season will be Claire Ayers of Washington who finished as the runner up last year to teammate Mikayla Reed who now runs at MIZZOU. Ayers has the fastest returning time in Class 4 with a 2:16, and will look to keep improving to win the title in 2019. Fellow medalists Emma Kelley and Palmer Mihalevich also return and will look to challenge Ayers for the title this Spring.
