There are just three boys returning in the Shot Put from State last season, with two of them being State Medalists.
The top returner is Grandview's Justice Akinmoladun, who was the runner up last year. Justice has the top returning through by nearly 8 feet with a massive 56-4.25 he threw at State last year. This season he'll look to keep improving upon that great throw from his sophomore season, and finish atop the podium in 2019.
