Class 2
Paige Cummings is the Defending State Champion in the Class 2 Girls Pole Vault, and she'll look to repeat as Champion in 2019. She holds a PR of 10-7, and the closest challenger and last year's third place finisher, Summer Beaty, who holds a PR of 10-0.
Last year's runner up Drew O'Connor of Lathrop is the top returning vaulter for Class 2 boys. He holds a PR of 14-0, but if he wants to claim the title he'll have to hold off Trey Sagehorn of Pierce City who owns a PR of 15-0 and has vaulted 14-6 a couple of times as well.
