Class 3 Districts Preview

District 4

The Girls race will feature the Class 3 State Title Hopeful. MICDS is coming into the meet really hot, and will look to keep everything rolling this weekend. They should cruise to the District Title with Osage, Visitation, and Blair Oaks battling for the final qualifying spot.

Individual State Title hopeful Julia Ray (MICDS) is the heavy favorite coming into the weekend. She has the fastest time in Class 3 this season with an 18:42, and is 40 seconds faster than her closest challenger in the District Meet.

In the Boys race Westminster Christian Academy looks to be the favorite to bring home the team title. That'll leave Osage battling with Capital City in its first year as a school and only has sophomores and freshman battling for second place and the State Qualifying spot.

The individual title looks to be a close affair with Chase Grosvenor (Osage) coming in with the fastest season best with a 16:43. He's followed by Colin Ring (Westminster) at 16:45, Brody Whalen (Priory) at 16:47, Caden Kirksey (California) at 16:53, and Hunter Freiner (Westminster) at 16:56.
