Class 2 Girls
Last year's 5th place finisher Alex Sharp (Brookfield) headed into the race as the heavy favorite to win the title, and she didn't disappoint. She dominated the race from the very beginning and won the State Title with a 19:07, avenging her only loss of the season which had been at Gans Creek. 2018 Class 3 Champion Mercedes Schroer (Christian) took second with a 19:33, and Morgan Miller (Hermann) was third at 19:41.
6-time Defending State Champion Fatima headed into the race looking to make it 7 State Championships in a row. They did just that, scoring a very low 53 points. . They held off a late charge from Father Tolton who placed second with 63 points. Lawson placed third with 109 points, and El Dorado Springs surpassed Summit Christian in the final 1000m to earn the fourth place trophy with 156 points to Summit's 159.
