Khristen Bryant Wins Girls Athlete of the Decade

After five rounds of voting, Missouri Track fans have determined that Khristen Bryant is the Missouri Girls Athlete of the Decade.

The 2017 graduate of Columbia Independent had a stellar prep career that saw her excel in multiple events. Her best event was undoubtedly the pole vault, where she holds the Missouri state record, all-class state meet record, and class 1 state meet record. She also holds the class 1 state meet record in the 100H.

Bryant amassed a whopping eleven state medals (3x Pole Vault, 4x 100H, 2x 100m, 1x Long Jump), including six state championships (3x Pole Vault,  2x 100H, 1x 100m). She also achieved the rare feat of earning a Class 1 Team Trophy for Columbia Independent in 2017, scoring all 36 points by herself to earn 4th place as a "team."

Khristen now competes for the University of Kansas, specializing in the Pole Vault.
