It's time to vote for the Missouri Boys Performer Of The Week for Week 8!

This week saw quite a few impressive performances. But first congrats to Chase Sorrell of East Newton for being last week's winner. He got 80 percent of the votes! 

This week's nominees are ...

Andrew Johnson, Platte County

The junior took first place at the Class 4 District 4 meet, running 15:53.15 - helping his team win the district team title.

Chris Stone, Dexter

Ran 16:59.14 to place eighth overall in the Class 3 District 1 meet, setting the stage as three teammates followed in 9th, 10th, and 11th. That helped the Bearcats advance to state as a team for the first time since 1971.

Blaine Brodersen, Stover

Brodersen, a senior, advanced to state for the fourth time after a runner-up finish in the Class 2 District 4 meet in Platte City.

Ronan Hardwicke, Christian

The O'Fallon Christian runner ran 16:46.87 to take first place in the Class 1 District 1 meet.

Bradley Shaw, Stoutland

The Class 1 District 3 title went to the senior, who won in 17:57.60.
