Missouri Girls Performer of the Week (Nov. 4-5)

Take a look at the top performers at the state meet and the final in-season performer of the week poll until track and field season.

The state meet saw a number of impressive performances. Before we list the nominees, congrats to Kansas City Lutheran's Isabelle Wood for winning the previous poll with 69% of the votes. 

This week's nominees: 

Grace Tyson, Lafayette (Wildwood) 

She won the MSHSAA Class 5 Championship for the second year In a row. She won this year's title after missing most of the season with an injury.

Julia Ray, MICDS 

She secured her fourth state all-state medal and second state championship by winning the MSHSAA Class 4 Championship on Friday, Nov. 4.

Alexandra Volkart, Southern Boone County 

After a pair of fifth-place finishes in her first two trips to state, Volkart won the MSHSAA Class 3 Championship by a five-second margin.

Riley Bryan, Smithton

The future Missouri State runner won her second straight state title on Saturday, Nov. 5, winning the MSHSAA Class 2 Championship after being the Class 1 champ last year.

Mallory Shaw, Stoutland

The winner of the MSHSAA Class 1 Championship passed six races over the final kilometer to claim the title in her freshman season.
