The voters have spoken and Cor Jesu senior Adrienne Luna was voted the
top senior girl for Class 5 for the 2022 cross country season.
Luna took 14th place at the MSHSAA Class 5 championship, for the fourth time in her career. She ran a personal best 18:27.80 at the Class 5 District 1 meet.
Luna won the Big River PR Invitational, MWAA Conference championship and the Ed White Festival of Races event this year. During the regular season, she placed no lower than sixth.
She garnered 68 percent of the vote to win. The other finalists were Grace Tyson of Lafayette Wildwood, Carolyn Ford from Columbia Rock Bridge, Elissa Barnard from Lafayette Wildwood and Isabella Marcum from Fox High School.
