The Greater Kansas
City All-Metro girls cross country team was unveiled with runners from
Class 3 to 5.
St. Teresa's
Academy and Raymore-Peculiar each had two first-team picks.
Raymore-Peculiar
coach Jay Johnson was named the coach of the year. The other
finalists were Kearney's Jeff Roberts and North Platte's Brendan
Cary.
Raymore-Peculiar swept the awards with Ashlyn Smith winning the runner of the year. Abigail Brackenbury from Blue Springs and St. Michael's the Archangel's Elsa Henry were the other finalists.
