Republic's Troester named SWCCCA's Class 5 runner of year

The Southwest Missouri Cross Country Association All-Region Class 5 girls team featured a mix of schools on the first team led by Camdenton with two first-team picks. 

The coach of the year honors went to Springfield Kickapoo's Jeremy Goddard, who also won the boys coach of the year honors. 

Gracie Troester of Republic was the Class 5 girls' runner of the year. She was second in the COC XC Championship and then took second in the MSHSAA Class 5- District 2 race. She finished 60th in the MSHSAA Class 5 State XC Championships.
