It's time to vote for the Missouri Boys Performer Of The Week!
Congrats to Joshua Manning of Lee's Summit who won last week's voting with 49% of the vote, but a slim 4% margin of victory over Park Hill South's Briggs Bartosh. Manning's weekend at the Kansas Relays included winning the triple jump on Friday and the long jump on Saturday.
This week Missouri's stars were spread across the state dropping some great performances!
The senior, who signed with Kansas, won the 3,200-meter race in a school-record time of 9:17.35 at the Gary Parker Invitational on Friday in Blue Springs.
Joplin senior and University of Kansas signee Hobbs Campbell ran 9:22 for 3200-meters at the Bill Summa Invitational, as pictured above, then improved to 9:17 last week at the Blue Springs Gary Parker Invitational.
The senior set a new school record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.34 at the Dennis Hancock Invitational on April 18.
The sophomore won the javelin (50.11 meters) and the discus (44.71) event at the Nate Danneman Relays on Friday in Weston.
Joseph Anderson, Westminster Christian Academy
Picked up wins in the 110-meter hurdles (14.68 seconds) and triple jump (46 feet, 4 inches) and was fourth in the 300-meter hurdles at Ladue's Brusca-Strohbach. Anderson is pictured at the top winning the 110 hurdles.
