Missouri Girls Performer Of The Week (May 15-20)

It's time to vote for the Missouri Girls Performer Of The Week!

Congrats to the last poll winner Hailey Kroeger of Palmyra who got 51% of the votes.  At the Last Chance Meet at Wentzville Timberland on May 6, the junior set a new school record with a javelin throw of 34.90 meters.

There was...

Athena Peterson, Columbia Hickman

She won the long jump and triple jump at the Class 5 Sectional 2 meet in Columbia, while adding a runner-up finish in the 300-meter hurdles. The triple jump distance of 12.14 meters was a new school record.

Lindsay Ramsey, North Platte

She was on the winning 4x400-meter relay, won the 400-meter dash, was on a runner-up finish in the 4x200-meter relay and took fourth in the 200-meter dash for the MSHSAA Class 2 champs. Her time in the 400 -- 56.93 -- is a new school record.

She broke her own school record with a throw of 39 feet, 2 3/4 inches to win the sectional meet in West Plains and move on to the Class 3 state meet.

Elyse Wilmes, Father Tolton Catholic

She broke a pair of Class 2 records at the MSHSAA State Championships in the 800-meter (4:54.98) to break a mark that stood since 2014 and then her 2:10.48 in the 800-meter broke a mark that has stood since 1993.
