Katherine Schaefer, Joplin The Lady Eagles senior posted her best time of the year by running 19:02.36 to pick up first place at the East Newton Invitational on Saturday. It was her first win of the year and her fourth top-10 finish.
Mary McKenzie, Cor Jesu Academy At the Girls Independent School League Conference meet on Oct. 5, the sophomore picked up her third win of the season and ran 19:11.90 to win the race at St. Vincent Park in St. Louis.
