POLL: Missouri Boys XC Runner of the Week (Oct. 16-22)


The cross-country season is in full swing season and the times across the state are showing that. 

Below are the top boys performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Boys Runner of the Week for Oct. 16-22.

Polling starts on Monday, Oct. 23 at 11 p.m. CT and ends on Thursday at 12 p.m.

Owen Hartline, Father Tolton Regional Catholic
The senior took second place at the Bowling Green Invitational on Oct. 20 and his time of 16:32.23 set a new school record for the Trailblazers. Tolton won the team title as well.

Jett Hancock, Puxico
The sophomore won for the third time this season by winning the Dexter High School Invitational on Saturday. He and teammate Karsen Long gave the Indians a 1-2 finish, running 17:56.40 and 18:17.50, respectively.

Keteyian Cade, Metro 
Competing at the St. Louis Fall Classic XC Meet on Saturday at Wilmore Park, the senior won his first race of the season and posted the win by nearly 40 seconds over teammate Gabriel Baum-Scholle. It was Cole's fourth top-4 finish this season.

Michael Parrigon, Joplin McAuley Catholic
The Warriors won the team title by seven points over College Heights Christian and Parrigon brought home the first-place finish. It was the third straight win this year for the junior.
