POLL: Missouri Boys XC Runner of the Week (Oct. 23-29)

The cross-country season is in full swing season and the times across the state are showing that. 

Below are the top boys performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Boys Runner of the Week for Oct. 23-29.

Polling starts on Monday, Oct. 31 at 11:30 a.m. CT and ends on Friday at 12 p.m.

Zach Mitchell, Marshfield
The senior won for a second straight week, taking first at the Class 4 District 2 meet on Saturday in Nixa. He ran a personal best of 16:04.04.

Reed Layton, Woodland
The senior was part of a 1-2 finish for the Cardinals, with Layton winning in 16:38.01, at the Class 2 District 1 meet. It was his fifth win of the season.

Wyatt Klaiber, El Dorado Springs
The freshman won his first district title after running 15:45.48 in the Class 3 District 2 meet in Lamar. It was his personal record and the second time he broke 16 minutes this season.

Henry Acorn, Rockhurst​​​​​​​
The junior claimed the Class 5 District 4 championship on Saturday, running 16:0.10 and helped the Hawklets win the team title by 40 points.
