POLL: Missouri Girls XC Runner of the Week (State Meet)

The Missouri cross-country season has concluded and state champions have been crowned. 

Below are the top girls performances from the 2023 State Meet. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Girls Runner of the Week.

Polling starts on Wed., Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. CT and ends on Nov. 15 at 12 p.m.

The Class 3 champion dominated the race on Saturday and her final time of 18:07.7 was nearly 21 seconds faster than the runner-up.

Mya Wray, Platte Valley

The favorite to win the Class 1 finals did just that and in an emphatic way - a win by 1:04 seconds on Friday.

Natalie Barnard, Lafayette (Wildwood)

Barnard, following in the footsteps of Grace Tyson's back-to-back title, ran 17:12.7 to win for the Lancers - setting the fastest time ever across all classes.

Kensington Curd, Brentwood 

The sophomore closed out the season with wins in her last three races and took home the MSHSAA Class 2 championship on Friday.

Alexandra Volkart, Southern Boone County

The Tulsa pledge repeated as the Class 3 champion by running 18:27 on Saturday.
