2023 Foot Locker Midwest Missouri Entries

The cross country championships formerly known as the Kinney, Foot Locker, Eastbay, and Champs Sports Championships, has another new name this year. Though, it's a familiar one. The  event that started in 1979, is now called the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships presented by HOKA.

The event has hosted regional championships and has advanced the top finishers to the national championship meet for four decades. The annual Midwest Regional is held at Wisconsin-Parkside's Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course between Kenosha and Racine, Wisconsin. Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and U.S. citizens in oversea military installations all make up the Midwest Region.

The top 10 finishers in the Boys and Girls Championship races will advance to nationals to compete at San Diego's Balboa Park on December 9. All-America Honors will be on the line in San Diego.

In Wisconsin, seven races will be held. The top 24 finishers in each of the high school races will earn medals. Races will be scored by state, with individuals who finish in the top 5 for a state team that finishes among the five states, will earn a medal.
