2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships
While many Show-Me Staters will vie for national titles and top-8 first-team All-America honors, Joplin native Kyle Rutledge is looking for one of the most memorable weeks a college coach could ever have.
The Joplin High School and Missouri Southern State University alum is in his 3rd year as head coach of the host Pittsburg State University Gorillas. Rutledge's men aren't just looking for back-to-back indoor national titles, but a 4tth straight national title overall, indoor and out.
The Gorillas are ranked #1 while the ladies are ranked 3rd. Imagine what the celebration may look like tomorrow at 8:15 pm. if the men win another national title and the women win a top-4 team trophy at home.
Keep checking back for updates throughout the meet on Missouri athletes and teams.
