Missouri Girls Performer Of The Week (April 8-13)

It's time to vote for the Missouri Girls Performer Of The Week! This is the fourth edition for the 2024 track and field season.

Congrats to last week's winner, Carl Junction's Acadia Badgley, who got 49% of the votes. For the second week in a row, she broke the school record in the pole vault. The senior jumped 3.35 meters (11 feet) at the Girls Night Out meet on Thursday in Springfield. The mark ties her for 13th on the state list and 2nd on the Class 4 performance list.

Lily McAuliffe, Kearney

The junior set a new school record for the Lady Bulldogs by running a 12.39 in the 100-meter dash on April 11 at the Winnetonka Invitational. McAuliffe then returned to the track on Friday for four races at the Ken Peek Invitational, highlighted by a 3rd place 4x400 finish. McAuliffe is a top-10 performer in Class 4 in the 100 and top-20 in the 200


Bryleigh Knox, Moberly

At the McCush Relays on April 12, she won the triple jump, long jump, and 100-meter dash, while also racing on the 4x100-meter relay team that took first. She helped the Spartans take first place at the Boonville meet. Knox sits 14th on the state triple jump performance list and 4th on the Class 3 list.

In the long jump, Knox sits 1st in Class 3 and 5th overall on the state performance list with a leap of 5.6m/18-4.5. Knox also is among the top 10 in Class 3 in the 100 and 200 with 12.75 and 26.62 bests. 


Avery JohnsonPark Hills Central

The senior broke the school record in the 100-meter hurdles on Friday with a 15.78 at the DeSoto Invitational. A returning all-stater, she's been 1st or 2nd in every race this season in this event. She sits 5th on the Class 3 performance list in the event.


Paige Stuart, Blue Springs

At the Gary Parker Invitational, her team's home meet, she won the 800-meter race with a time of 2:06.90 -- the fastest time in the state and the 13th fastest time in the USA this season. The performance was a nearly 3-second PR and puts Stuart 3rd in the event on the Missouri MileSplit all-time database.
