Skyye Lee was named the Gatorade girls Player of the Year for Missouri track and field.
The University of Florida signee left her mark on the sport in Missouri and she proved that anything that involves speed, she could do it. Over her career, the Parkway Central grad accumulated 13 gold medals at the state championships.
Lee set a state record in the 100-meter hurdles when she ran 13.34 at state. That was just one win; she added wins in the 200m and the 300-meter hurdles as well as a runner-up in the 100m.
Lee has also exhibited positivity in the academic and character areas. She graduated with a weighted B average in the classroom. She also volunteered in areas that help empower young women who have experienced domestic violence.
